  • Higher GDP in March

    Sweden’s GDP increased by 0.6 percent in March, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. For the first quarter as a whole GDP was largely unchanged compared with the preceding quarter. In March GDP was 1.3 percent higher than in March of 2024 while the first quarter increased by 1.1 percent compared with the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.

  • GDP indicator down in February

    Sweden’s GDP decreased by 1.5 percent in February, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. Calander adjusted GDP was 0.3 percent lower than in the corresponding month of the preceding year.

  • GDP indicator down in January

    Sweden’s GDP decreased by 0.5 percent in January, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. Calander adjusted GDP was 2.0 percent higher than in the corresponding month of the preceding year.

  • Higher GDP in December

    Sweden’s GDP increased by 0.7 percent in December, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. For the fourth quarter as a whole GDP increased by 0.2 percent compared with the preceding quarter. In December GDP was 2.1 percent higher than in December of 2023 while the fourth quarter increased by 1.1 percent compared with the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.

  • GDP indicator up in November

    Sweden’s GDP increased by 1.4 percent in November, seasonally adjusted and compared with the previous month, as shown by the preliminary compilation of the GDP indicator. Calander adjusted GDP was 2.1 percent higher than in the corresponding month of the preceding year.
